Thanks for dropping by. I have visited Portugal twice and I will return later this year yoo. My friends owns a place on the island of Armona – it’s beautiful there… no cars allowed. How long have you been in Portugal? My husband has a friend living in the North of Portugal she is married to a Portuguese man which has made learning the language easier for her. I’m able to converse in English and French. I also speak some Flemish / Dutch having lived in Belgium for a few years but I have to say I was a little lazy with the Dutch as both French and Flemish / Dutch as both widely spoken in Belgium I tended to speak French all the time

Oh how I love France!

I lived in a little place called Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat for half a year and for a few months in Cannes as well. In the north I used to sail to St Malo from the south coast of England.

Though, I can manage to get my point across in French, because we learn it at school, I would find it very difficult to relocate and deal with all of the laws etc if I was relocating there permanently… I think in any foreign land it is difficult… certainly here in Portugal it is – sometimes I hire somebody to deal with paperwork for me because they make it so complicated!!!

It’s so hard to find a trust worthy person/company to work on your side.
